Privacy Policy
Last updated: [29/05/2025]
Baixador.com (“we”, “us”) operates the Baixador website (https://baixador.com) and the Baixador mobile application (together, the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains what we and our partners collect, how it is used, and your choices. It applies to both the website and the mobile app.
1. Information you provide The Service does not require registration or personal data such as your name, email, or phone number. To use the core feature, you provide public links (URLs) or usernames of the content you want to access or download. These public links/usernames are sent to third-party content-retrieval services solely to fetch the requested media in real time; we do not use them to identify you and do not retain them on our servers.
2. Information collected automatically We and our partners may automatically collect certain technical information:
- Website: IP address, browser type/version, operating system, pages visited, date/time of access (server logs).
- Mobile app: device and advertising identifiers, app usage/interaction data, approximate location (derived from IP), and diagnostic data (crash and performance), collected through the third-party SDKs described below.
3. Advertising Our Service is supported by ads.
- Website: we use Google AdSense, which may use cookies and web beacons (including DART cookies) to show ads, including ads personalized to your prior visits.
- Mobile app: we use Google AdMob. On supported devices, AdMob may access your device’s advertising identifier (e.g., IDFA on iOS) to deliver and measure ads. On iOS, you will be asked for permission through App Tracking Transparency (ATT); if you decline, you can still use the app and will receive non-personalized ads.
4. Analytics We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the app is used (e.g., searches, downloads, ad displays) and to improve it. This may include usage data, device identifiers, approximate location, and diagnostic data.
5. Tracking Some of the data above (such as the advertising identifier and advertising/usage data) may be used by our advertising partners to track you across apps and websites for advertising and measurement, subject to your permission where required (e.g., ATT on iOS). You can withdraw this permission at any time in your device settings.
6. Data sharing We do not sell your personal information. However, the third-party services we use — Google AdMob, Google AdSense, and Google Analytics for Firebase — independently collect and process data through their own technologies under their privacy policies. See Google’s Privacy & Terms (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and “How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services” (https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites).
7. Downloaded content Media you download is saved locally on your device (e.g., to your photo library). We do not receive, store, or have access to the media you download.
8. Your choices
- iOS: manage tracking in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking; you can reset or limit your advertising identifier.
- Android: reset/delete your advertising ID and opt out of ad personalization in device settings.
- Web: disable cookies in your browser; opt out of personalized Google ads at https://adssettings.google.com.
9. Children’s privacy The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction).
10. Security and retention Technical logs are kept only as needed for security and statistics.
11. Changes We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
